Accenture has completed the acquisition of Sagacity, a London-headquartered firm specialising in data and customer intelligence. The deal transfers Sagacity's proprietary data holdings, AI-powered technology platform, and workforce of over 140 staff members into Accenture's customer operations unit.

Since its founding in 2005, Sagacity has worked with organisations managing extensive customer bases and intricate customer journeys, helping them convert customer insights into measurable business outcomes. The firm brings deep expertise in customer intelligence alongside its differentiated data assets and AI-enabled systems.

The move reflects intensifying client demand for integrated solutions that merge data, AI capabilities and operational infrastructure into cohesive, results-driven programmes. Combining Sagacity's strengths with Accenture's industry knowledge, technology capabilities and customer operations expertise will enable organisations to build more personalised and responsive customer experiences, spanning strategy, design, implementation and ongoing operations.

Sohel Aziz, senior managing director at Accenture Song for the UK and Ireland, commented on the strategic rationale: "Our clients are increasingly looking to connect data, AI and operations to drive growth and reinvent customer experiences. Sagacity's deep expertise and outcome-focused approach will enhance our ability to help clients turn insight into action and achieve measurable results through intelligent customer operations. Together, we can help organisations move faster, make smarter decisions and create sustainable value."

Anita Dougall, Sagacity's CEO and co-founder, added: "Joining Accenture represents an exciting opportunity to accelerate the impact of our people, data and technology. By combining our expertise, data and know-how with Accenture's scale and innovation capabilities, we can help more organisations deliver meaningful business results."
