Arduino is transitioning its VENTUNO Q artificial intelligence platform to permanent pricing as of October 19, moving from its $299 introductory rate to $399. The shift reflects what the company describes as sustained increases in memory module costs across the hardware industry, expenses that Arduino absorbed during the initial launch window.
When Arduino unveiled VENTUNO Q in March, the company committed to an under-$300 entry price, which it maintained when orders opened in August at $299. The board sold through its initial stock twice and continues to attract orders. Customers who have already placed pre-orders will retain access to the introductory pricing.
Since launch, Arduino's community has demonstrated the platform's versatility through diverse applications. Projects shared online and at industry events include agentic AI reasoning assistants, depth camera tools, vision systems for factory production lines, humanoid service robots, face-tracking implementations, and voice control systems. The board is also running demanding games including Half-Life 2 and Skyrim, showcasing its computational capacity for both consumer and industrial edge AI workloads.
At its new $399 price point, VENTUNO Q combines a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU capable of 40 dense TOPS for local language models and vision processing, an STM32H5 real-time processor for physical world interaction, 16 GB of RAM, and a production pathway through the Works with Arduino program using Qualcomm Dragonwing processors.
Arduino plans continued software development at no additional cost. The next Arduino App Lab release will introduce new AI models, compatibility with third-party accessories including Raspberry Pi HATs and MIPI CSI cameras, and additional capabilities. Qualcomm Linux software stack support for VENTUNO Q is currently available in beta on GitHub.
at $399, VENTUNO Q still delivers unprecedented value. In a single open platform, it brings together an Qualcomm® Hexagon™ NPU rated at 40 dense TOPS for local LLMs and vision AI running on-device, a dedicated STM32H5 sub-millisecond brain to act on the physical world, 16 GB of RAM, and a genuine path from prototype to production through the Works with Arduino™ program powered by Qualcomm Dragonwing™ processors.

VENTUNO Q is available through Arduino's official store and authorized distribution partners including Conrad, DigiKey, Mouser, Farnell, RS, Robu.in, and additional retailers worldwide.
