Blackwall, a web traffic management platform, has secured $100 million in Series C funding at a $2.2 billion valuation. The round comes shortly after the company crossed the €1 billion threshold last month, earning it a spot as the fifth most valuable tech company in Estonia according to the TopTech 2026 ranking.

AVP led the investment round, joined by returning backers Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures and Tera Ventures. The capital will fuel Blackwall's expansion of a global traffic management ecosystem built around its network of hosting providers.

Blackwall's platform addresses a growing challenge: managing the increasingly complex landscape of internet traffic. The company's technology stack includes bot mitigation, DDoS protection, web application firewall capabilities, load balancing, server-side encryption and tools for handling agentic AI traffic. Deployed within hosting providers' own infrastructure, Blackwall processes billions of requests daily to distinguish legitimate visitors and automated systems from malicious actors.

According to Nikita Rozenberg, Co-Founder and CEO, "The web is becoming more automated, more distributed and more complex, but the infrastructure that powers it remains highly fragmented. Our ambition is to build the traffic management ecosystem that brings those worlds together. This funding allows us to expand globally, deepen our platform and give hosting and infrastructure providers the technology they need to participate in the next generation of the web."

The hosting market represents a $200 billion opportunity, though it remains fragmented because infrastructure must remain geographically close to the businesses it serves. For most websites, the hosting provider is the sole path to operating at scale. Unlike hyperscale platforms that compete directly with providers for customers, Blackwall operates within provider infrastructure, strengthening rather than disrupting those relationships.

Warda Shaheen, General Partner at AVP, highlighted the company's strategic position: "Blackwall has built something rare: a security company that grows with the internet itself. It is already the layer in front of millions of websites, and as more of the web's traffic comes from agents, the company in that position becomes indispensable. That's why we're leading this round."

Norman Fiore, General Partner at Dawn Capital, added: "A tsunami of agents will overwhelm infrastructure optimised for human traffic. Nik and Denis are already delivering to their millions of customers the infrastructure optimised for the coming agentic web, and commercial success will flow to those businesses that are retooling today."

Blackwall intends to deploy the fresh funding toward scaling its presence across the web traffic management sector. The company plans to establish and strengthen operations across 12 key regions spanning North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
