Seaya has unveiled Seaya Nova, a dedicated growth fund that secured €600 million at its initial close within half a year. The vehicle targets the funding bottleneck that constrains European technology firms at the scaling stage, with the Madrid-headquartered firm simultaneously opening an office in London to broaden its geographic reach.

The European Investment Fund (EIF) provides backing through the European Tech Champions Initiative (ETCI), an EIB Group initiative designed to address the capital shortage affecting growth-phase European tech companies. The fund also draws support from institutional investors, corporate backers and family offices.

Seaya Nova will commit between €20 million and €50 million per investment, leading or participating as co-lead in Series B through Series D financings for European technology firms that demonstrate validated business models, sound unit economics and aspirations for worldwide reach.

Beatriz González, who founded Seaya and serves as Managing Partner of Seaya Nova, leads the fund alongside Vinoth Jayakumar, who has joined as Managing Partner after spending more than ten years investing in European growth-stage companies. His prior portfolio includes backing rounds in Revolut, Wise, Thought Machine and ICEYE. The London office opening marks Seaya's expansion beyond its Madrid base while reinforcing its footprint across European tech markets.

Seaya Nova is the natural evolution of what we have built over thirteen years. We started backing founders at the earliest stage, added an impact strategy with Seaya Andromeda, and now can support the best European companies all the way to global leadership. We are delighted to welcome Vinoth to lead this next chapter with us.

Europe now produces companies capable of leading their categories globally. The question is no longer whether we can build them here, but whether we can scale them from here. AI is compressing the path from product-market fit to category leadership, and the winner needs capital earlier and in larger amounts. Seaya Nova is built for that reality, and I could not be more excited to join Seaya to build it.

The new fund completes Seaya's investment architecture, which now spans three distinct strategies. Seaya Ventures operates at the seed and Series A stage, Seaya Andromeda focuses on impact investing, and Seaya Nova addresses the growth phase. This structure enables Seaya to accompany European technology companies from their initial funding through international scaling, leveraging more than a decade of experience across the continent's tech investment landscape.
