Night Summit, Web Summit's official evening programme, runs on three nights of Web Summit 2026 in Lisbon. It is in Pavilion 5 at FIL from 20:00 to 23:00 on Monday 9 November, and from 18:00 to 21:00 on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 November, Lisbon time. On Tuesday and Wednesday a second part, Night Summit Downtown, moves to bars in the city centre from 21:00 to midnight. Side events are run by companies, universities and agencies, not by Web Summit, and they are mostly listed on Luma, Eventbrite or the organisers' own sites.

Lisbon is on UTC+0 in November, one hour behind CET. Details below come from Web Summit's schedule essentials FAQ and the official schedule as of 6 November 2026. For tickets, the venue and transport, see our Web Summit 2026 guide.

Night Summit 2026: times and venue

  • Monday 9 November: 20:00–23:00 (21:00–00:00 CET), after Opening Night on Centre Stage.
  • Tuesday 10 November: 18:00–21:00 (19:00–22:00 CET).
  • Wednesday 11 November: 18:00–21:00 (19:00–22:00 CET).

This year Night Summit starts on the show floor itself, in Pavilion 5 at FIL, rather than across the city. Web Summit's FAQ says the programme includes speed networking, more than 100 meetups, games such as trivia, karaoke, ping pong and giant foosball, happy hours and live music.

Who can get in

Web Summit's FAQ says anyone holding event accreditation can attend Night Summit, so your conference ticket covers it. Because the venue is inside Pavilion 5, only accredited attendees can enter, which means you cannot bring a friend without a ticket. Under Web Summit's terms and conditions, holders of youth tickets may not attend any evening events.

Entry is first come, first served. You can leave and come back as long as there is space, and the FAQ lists 21:30 as the final entry time.

Getting there

  • From inside the venue, walk along the Alameda to Pavilion 5 and use the tunnel entrance.
  • From the city after 17:00, use the North Entrance near Moscavide metro station. The South Entrance is open only until 17:00.

Monday's meetups and speed networking

The schedule for 9 November lists region-based meet and greets in six meetup rooms between 20:00 and 22:55, including Iberia, DACH, Nordics, Benelux, Baltics, Balkans and Central and Eastern Europe. The speed networking listing gives three slots that evening: 20:00–20:30, 20:45–21:15 and 21:30–22:00. No booking is needed, but seats go on a first-come basis and Web Summit asks people to arrive 10 minutes early. Meetup times for other nights are in the Web Summit app.

Night Summit Downtown

On Tuesday and Wednesday the evening continues in the city from 21:00 to 00:00 (22:00–01:00 CET). The bars stay open to the general public, so non-ticket holders can join. Web Summit suggests bringing your lanyard so other attendees can recognise you.

  • Tuesday 10 November, Cais do Sodré: the meeting point is Quiosque Lisboa in Praça São Paulo. Bars Web Summit lists as accessible for people with reduced mobility include Musa da Bica, Javá, Cosmo and The Monarch Cocktail Bar.
  • Wednesday 11 November, Príncipe Real: the meeting point is Quiosque Lisboa in Príncipe Real. Bars on the same accessible list include Black Sheep, Imprensa Cocktail and Oyster Bar, Gin Lovers and Fúria.

Addresses and the full list of bars are in the Web Summit app.

How to find Web Summit side events

Side events are not part of the official programme and are not covered by your ticket. Each host sets its own rules, and many invite-only events require approval or use a waitlist. To find them:

  • Search Luma and Eventbrite for "Web Summit" plus Lisbon.
  • Check the event pages of universities, national trade agencies and startup programmes bringing delegations to Lisbon.
  • Look at the venue address before you register. Parque das Nações is near the main site, while Cais do Sodré and Beato take longer to reach.
  • Compare times with Night Summit. Tuesday and Wednesday evening side events overlap with the 18:00–21:00 session in Pavilion 5.

Two side events confirmed by their organisers

  • UniVerse: Entrepreneurial Academy 2026, run by the University of Lisbon on Tuesday 10 November, 17:00–20:30, at the congress centre of the Pavilion of Portugal in Parque das Nações, near the main venue. Entry is free but you need to register. The programme includes a startup pitch competition at 18:00.
  • Lisbon Beyond Summit 2026, a matchmaking event billed as a Web Summit side event and listed with IAPMEI, the Portuguese agency for competitiveness and innovation, as a contact, from 9 to 13 November at the Myriad Crystal Center in Parque das Nações. It is aimed at startups, scale-ups and investors, and registration is open until 13 November.
