Adobe has integrated its CX Enterprise Coworker—an AI agent designed for marketing teams—directly into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Databricks Genie, the company announced Wednesday. The company also expects integrations with Amazon Quick, IBM and Snowflake to arrive in the coming months.

The CX Enterprise Coworker orchestrates customer experience initiatives across Adobe's marketing suite. Available as a plugin in ChatGPT since its general release in June, the agent operates under human supervision and is built on two open standards: the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent2Agent (A2A).

Core capabilities

According to Adobe, the agent monitors campaign performance and market movements, predicts audience behaviour, optimizes customer experience pathways and supports planning and project coordination. Anjul Bhambhri, who leads engineering for the product at Adobe, explained the vision: "Today, marketers often use AI tools in isolation, without the organizational context and domain intelligence needed to personalize every stage of the customer lifecycle."

Expanding the ecosystem

Adobe has unveiled a series of connectors that bridge the agent to external platforms through pre-built MCP servers. Integration partners span Amazon Ads, Demandbase, Microsoft Work IQ, RainFocus, Snowflake and Meta's advertising tools. This architecture enables marketers to retrieve information and execute actions across multiple platforms using a single command.

Major consulting firms—including Accenture, Deloitte Digital, EY, IBM and PwC—are developing sector-focused versions of the agent. Marketing agencies such as dentsu, Havas, Omnicom, Publicis and WPP are also customizing the tool with their own capabilities.

Rob Howard, who oversees Copilot's platform and extensibility initiatives at Microsoft, commented: "This gives marketing teams the speed and flexibility to orchestrate more personalized experiences at scale."

Broader Adobe strategy

Adobe reports that more than 20,000 brands rely on its software for content creation, customer engagement and brand management. In August, the company embedded its creative tools into ChatGPT. Adobe has also entered agentic AI partnerships with Jet2 for travel services and Heathrow for its new website.
