Claimlane, a Copenhagen-based provider of aftersales resolution technology, has announced a €5.6 million Series A funding round led by Verb Ventures, Skagerak Capital and Vendep Capital. The platform orchestrates interactions between brands, retailers, suppliers, manufacturers and repair partners to streamline warranty claims, product repairs, replacements and supplier claims management. Capital from the round will fund development of bespoke AI agents capable of automating intricate aftersales processes tailored to each customer's product portfolio, warranty terms and supplier relationships, alongside aggressive growth efforts in North America, where the company now sees its strongest pipeline for new business.

How the platform works

Claimlane's system consolidates case data and workflows across the entire product lifecycle, enabling businesses to coordinate issues and automate key operational steps. The network spans more than 20,000 retailers and brands, with customers including Skechers, Black Diamond, tonies® and Hummel. The company operates from offices in Copenhagen, London and Austin.

AI agents and workflow automation

The fresh capital will accelerate development of AI agents designed to absorb complexity across aftersales workflows. These agents are constructed around each client's specific product catalogues, warranty policies, supplier agreements and internal procedures. They evaluate incoming case information against these parameters and guide claims toward resolution, with human decision-makers retained for situations requiring judgment.

Claimlane intends to broaden agent capabilities across multiple sectors, from electronics and furniture to outdoor gear. Product issues frequently require coordination among the original purchaser, retailer, manufacturer, supplier and repair service provider—a complexity the platform aims to simplify through unified workflows.

Customer impact and revenue generation

For some clients, streamlining aftersales operations has unlocked new revenue streams. Black Diamond reported that automating manual claims work freed its team to launch a paid repair programme and resell refurbished products.

Claimlane helped us turn our aftersales department from a cost center into a profit center. By reducing the manual work involved in handling claims, we freed up our team to build a repairs program that generates revenue through paid repairs and sales of repaired products.

Tess Jordan, Senior Manager of Customer Experience at Black Diamond

tonies® highlighted how the platform enables consistent customer support during international expansion.

With Claimlane, we can reduce manual work as we expand globally, allowing us to support far more families while delivering the same seamless experience across all our markets. Getting support should be as simple and intuitive as putting a Tonie on the Toniebox.

US expansion and market momentum

North America has emerged as Claimlane's primary growth engine. The US ranks as the company's largest market for new customer acquisition in 2026, with sales opportunities climbing 150 percent year-on-year and newly created pipeline value doubling. CEO and co-founder Anders Sommer has relocated to Austin, Texas to lead the company's American operations.

The demand we're seeing from US brands and retailers makes our next move clear: we're investing in building a major business here. With this funding, we'll continue building AI agents that learn and handle complex aftersales workflows across the supply chain.

Investment rationale

Verb Ventures highlighted the defensibility of Claimlane's position in a crowded AI landscape.

We believe enduring AI businesses will combine specialised knowledge with the ability to execute within real workflows. Claimlane's network and operational role provide a foundation that is difficult to replicate with AI alone. That is central to our investment thesis.

Alexey Bulygin, Principal at Verb Ventures

The company sees rising demand from enterprises seeking to maintain service consistency as they scale across geographies. Its AI roadmap and North American expansion strategy are designed to tackle the operational challenges of managing product issues within larger, more dispersed supply chains.
