Lithuania's Finbee Verslui has expanded its senior secured credit facility to €55 million through a fresh €20 million commitment from Pollen Street Capital, building on a partnership that began in July 2024. The boost allows the digital lender to raise its ceiling on individual loans from €250,000 to €800,000 while offering longer repayment windows and better rates to small and medium-sized businesses across the country.
Since launching in 2017, Finbee Verslui has deployed more than €180 million across over 6,000 individual loans, reaching more than 4,000 businesses. The company generated over €40 million in fresh lending during 2025 alone, using proprietary credit models and streamlined digital application workflows to assess borrowers and disburse funds.
Pollen Street's renewed commitment is a strong endorsement of our team, our credit performance and the Lithuanian SME market. Since 2024, Pollen Street's investment has let us fund businesses within hours rather than days. Increasing it to €55 million means we can say yes to more entrepreneurs who need working capital to grow and support our existing customers as their needs get bigger.
Tomas Mačiulaitis, CEO of Finbee Verslui
The expanded capacity addresses a widening financing gap for smaller enterprises across Europe. The European Central Bank's Survey on the Access to Finance of Enterprises, released in July 2026, documented declining bank loan availability for SMEs in the second quarter, while larger firms saw conditions improve. A net 5% of SMEs reported a widening gap in bank financing access, up from 3% in the prior period, and 43% faced higher interest rates on bank loans.
We are pleased to increase our facility to Finbee Verslui and to continue our partnership. Finbee Verslui is a well-run business with a disciplined approach to lending and a high-quality, granular loan book. Through this partnership our funding helps Finbee to support more great small businesses.
