Opply, an artificial intelligence platform tailored for consumer packaged goods manufacturers, has announced a $7.5 million funding round. Chalfen Ventures led the investment, joined by Index Ventures, Anthemis, Entrepreneurs First, In This Together and Ventures Together.
Co-founders Helen Murphy and Martin Postel built Opply to tackle the operational complexity that defines the CPG sector. The platform deploys AI agents to handle sourcing, procurement, financing and supply chain management—combining machine learning capabilities with access to supplier networks and financing tools to help brands cut expenses and scale faster.
What distinguishes Opply from other supply chain software is its execution-focused design. Rather than simply offering insights or marketplace connections, the platform's AI agents actively manage inventory levels, coordinate manufacturing schedules and track shipments, minimizing the human workload required to keep operations running.
Murphy, serving as chief executive, described the friction points her company addresses: "Our AI technology doesn't just tell brands what needs to be done. It does the work, managing everything from sourcing and procurement to payments and supply chains. This latest funding gives us the opportunity to bring that model to many more businesses, from ambitious emerging brands to major global players."
The capital injection will enable Opply to expand its reach across the CPG landscape, targeting both startups entering the market and established multinational corporations seeking to modernize their operations.
