Travel technology firm ParkMundo has announced a €2.3 million seed investment to accelerate growth of its airport parking marketplace and business-to-business distribution infrastructure. The round represents the company's inaugural external capital injection, following more than ten years of self-funded, profitable operations.
Angel investors with backgrounds in technology and travel sectors led the round, joined by Rabobank as a financial partner. The funding arrives following a comprehensive overhaul of ParkMundo's technical systems, a rebranding effort and the launch of its B2B distribution capabilities.
Established in 2013 by Jeroen van den Eerenbeemt under the original name Vliegen en Parkeren, the platform was later joined by Martijn Meeuws, who serves as co-founder and chief executive. The company began as a parking comparison tool for airport travellers and has since evolved into an international travel technology provider operating across four continents.
ParkMundo now operates a network spanning more than 850 parking partners across 15 countries and has processed millions of airport parking reservations. The platform addresses a market characterised by fragmentation, where local operators and disparate booking systems dominate.
Connecting parking to travel bookings
Beyond its consumer-facing marketplace, ParkMundo has constructed a B2B offering that permits airlines, online travel agencies and other travel brands to embed airport parking directly within their reservation systems. Using application programming interfaces and partner integrations, travel companies can present parking as an ancillary offering to their customers.
The platform leverages artificial intelligence to dynamically adjust parking rates, drawing insights from its consumer booking history to help partners boost parking sales and unlock new revenue streams.
For years, airport parking has been one of the last major travel products operating through fragmented local systems. We believe travellers deserve the same seamless experience they expect when booking flights or hotels. Our ambition is to become the global infrastructure connecting parking operators with travellers wherever they book their trip.

ParkMundo intends to deploy the capital toward advancing its technology platform, pursuing geographic expansion and strengthening both its consumer marketplace and B2B distribution infrastructure through additional partnerships with travel providers.
